This Halloween, The Vanderbilt sets sail for Ghosts of the Atlantic: Drowned Pirates Ball, a spirited soirée inspired by the seafaring legend of mansioneer, Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt and Newport's storied harbor. Join us in our historic mansion for a delightfully eccentric night where captain's stripes meet paranormal happenings, and ship's bells give way to disco balls.

Roam candlelit halls filled with ghostly sailors, restless captains, and haunted socialites as we blur the lines between the Gilded Age and the great beyond. Expect nautical cocktails, decadent bites, and live entertainment. Costumes encouraged — whether you're channeling a bewitched deckhand, a glam ghost of the Gilded Age, or a phantom captain with flair.
